Can I search by state or country?
D7 Lead Finder is designed to use a keyword and city/ town to help you find new leads. We need to focus on a location and niche so that we go off and fetch the data fresh. That is why you can only search by either cities or towns as in most cases we do not have most of the data just sitting in a database.
Nevertheless, there is a way to search larger areas with the Professional Plan. Thanks to the Bulk Search you can enter a list of up to 100 cities and get all 100 searches back in one single file, which you can view online or export in Excel/CSV formats or PDF for printing.
To run a Bulk Search, you can follow these steps:
Go to “Bulk Search”
On “Bulk Search In Multiple Cities” pick a keyword (ie Plumber or Realtor)
On “City list” you can type multiple cities/towns up to 300.
Click “Fetch Leads”
Once the system has fetched your results, on the right side you will find your lists and the options to view and export your data. Do you want to know how to do this with the Bulk Search? Here you have a link: Can I export my lists?
Tip: Most people doing this just copy the top 50 towns/cities within a state/country from Wikipedia, and use this list. Here you have some examples of UK top 50 Cities, US Top 400 Cities, CA top 100 citiies.
